Reinvestment Initiative Program
WHEFA included in its May 1994 annual budget a program called the “Reinvestment Initiative Program.” The program was created by WHEFA to consider investments into projects or organizations that benefit our borrowers and the industries we serve each year. Over the years, WHEFA staff has searched for grant and investment opportunities that:
- relate to the healthcare or educational sectors which we serve
- have the ability to improve the financing process
- educate regarding the subject of financing
- result in a leveraging effect where other investments result because of our commitment
All potential initiatives are presented to Members for their consideration and approval. Since inception, WHEFA grants have totaled in excess of $200,000. For more information on this program, please contact WHEFA.
