The Authority is a member of the National Association of Health & Educational Facilities Finance Authorities (NAHEFFA).

Effective January 1, 2008, the National Council of Health Facilities Finance Authorities (NCHFFA) and the National Association of Higher Educational Facilities Authorities (NAHEFA) will merge into one large organization named NAHEFFA. Look for more information on this organization in future newsletters.

NAHEFFA was incorporated for the purpose of promoting the common interests of organizations which have the authority to provide tax-exempt capital financing for health care and higher educational institutions and to enhance the effectiveness of such organizations and their programs. The mission of the organization is carried out by a committee structure focused on communication, education and advocacy.
